Glass, Aluminium and ACP — Installed as One Package
Glass, aluminium and ACP (aluminium composite panel) are the materials behind most modern interiors and building fronts in the UAE. Glass brings in daylight and opens up a space. Aluminium gives it a strong, slim, rust-resistant frame. ACP cladding gives walls, columns and facades a clean, uniform finish that is light and quick to install.
At Zale Interior we cover the full chain of work: site measurement, material and finish selection, fabrication, installation and finishing. That includes glass works such as partitions, doors, balcony railings, skylights and mirrors; aluminium works such as doors, windows, shopfronts, louvers and pergolas; and ACP cladding for facades, shopfronts, columns, fascias and feature walls. It is part of our wider interior fit-out services.
Because we are an interior fit-out company, these works fit into the rest of your project — ceilings, flooring, joinery and painting — under one contract and one site team. The result is a space that looks sharper and works better:
- Appearance — clean lines and a modern architectural finish
- Natural light — more daylight reaching deeper into the space
- Privacy — frosted, tinted or acoustic glass where you need it
- Functionality — doors, partitions and windows that suit how the space is used
- Durability — materials suited to UAE heat, humidity and daily use
- Easy renovation — upgrade a facade, shopfront or office without rebuilding
Glass Works in Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman
From full-height office partitions to frameless balcony railings and backlit bathroom mirrors, we supply and install glass for homes, workplaces and commercial buildings. Every job starts with an accurate site measurement, so panels are cut to fit and installed cleanly.
A. Architectural Glass
Curtain Wall Glazing
A curtain wall is a non-load-bearing glass and aluminium skin hung on the outside of a building. It is used on offices, showrooms and commercial towers to create a continuous glass face that brings in daylight and gives the building a modern profile. We coordinate curtain wall supply and installation for new builds and facade upgrades, working from your consultant's drawings.
Structural Glazing
In structural glazing the glass is bonded to the aluminium frame with structural silicone, so no frame or caps show on the outside. The effect is a smooth, all-glass exterior popular on corporate buildings and premium showrooms. Zale Interior can supply and install structurally glazed systems where the project's design and approvals allow it.
Spider Glazing
Spider glazing holds glass panels with stainless-steel "spider" fittings bolted through the glass corners. It suits entrance lobbies, atriums, canopies and tall feature walls where you want maximum transparency and minimal metal. We supply the fittings and toughened panels and install the system to the approved layout.
Frameless Glazing
Frameless glazing uses thick toughened glass held in discreet floor and ceiling channels or clamps, with no vertical frames between panels. It is common in offices, villas and shopfronts that need an open, uncluttered look. We measure, supply and fit frameless glass with sealed, near-invisible joints.
Semi-Frameless Glazing
Semi-frameless systems keep slim frames on some edges — usually top and bottom — and leave the vertical joints clear. They balance a clean look with extra rigidity and are often chosen for partitions, shower enclosures and balcony glass on a moderate budget. We help you choose the frame finish and install the complete system.
Point-Fixed Glass
Point-fixed glass is held at individual points by bolts or patch fittings rather than continuous frames. It works well on feature walls, stair balustrades, canopies and signage panels. The result is a light, floating appearance. We supply suitable toughened or laminated glass and fix it with matching stainless-steel hardware.
Glass Facades
A glass facade changes how a building looks from the street and how much daylight reaches inside. Options range from full curtain walls to glass-and-ACP combinations on shops and villas. We assess the existing structure, advise on glass type for heat and glare, and handle supply and installation.
Storefront Glazing
Storefront glazing is the glass front of ground-floor shops, cafés and showrooms, usually in an aluminium frame with an entrance door. Clear, wide glass lets passers-by see your products and your brand. We fabricate and install storefronts sized to your unit, including doors, fixed panels and signage zones.
Commercial Glazing
Commercial glazing covers the glass used across offices, retail units, clinics and hospitality venues — windows, partitions, doors and internal screens. The priorities are safety, durability and a consistent finish across the whole space. We supply and install commercial glass as part of your fit-out or as a separate package.
B. Glass Partitions & Interior Glass
Office Glass Partitions
Glass partitions divide an office into rooms and zones while keeping it bright and open. They are used for manager cabins, meeting rooms and departments. Compared with solid walls, they are faster to install and easier to reconfigure. We plan the layout with you, supply the system and install it alongside the rest of your office fit-out.
Frameless Glass Partitions
Frameless partitions use toughened glass joined with clear silicone or slim connectors, giving an almost seamless glass wall. They suit premium offices, reception areas and boardrooms where appearance matters. We install them with discreet floor and ceiling channels and matching frameless glass doors.
Aluminium-Framed Glass Partitions
An aluminium frame around each glass panel adds strength and a crisp architectural line. These partitions are a practical choice for busy offices, clinics and schools. The frames come in powder-coated or anodized finishes to match your interior. Zale Interior supplies, fabricates and fixes the full system.
Single-Glazed Partitions
Single-glazed partitions use one layer of glass in the frame or channel. They are the most common and cost-effective option for dividing open-plan offices where moderate sound separation is enough. We install them quickly with minimal disruption, including doors, blinds-ready frames and manifestation film.
Double-Glazed Partitions
Double-glazed partitions have two glass panes with an air gap between them. The gap improves sound reduction and allows slim blinds to be fitted between the panes. They are well suited to meeting rooms, HR offices and executive cabins. We supply and install double-glazed systems with matching doors.
Frosted Glass Partitions
Frosted glass gives privacy while still letting light pass through. It can cover the full panel or a band at eye level, and can include patterns or your logo. It is popular in clinics, offices and bathrooms. We supply frosted or acid-etched glass, or apply decorative frosted film to clear partitions.
Acoustic Glass Partitions
Acoustic partitions combine laminated acoustic glass, double glazing and sealed frames to cut sound transfer between rooms. They are used for boardrooms, interview rooms and call areas. We help you choose the right glass build-up for the level of privacy needed and install the system with proper seals and door gaskets.
Meeting Room Glass Partitions
Glass meeting rooms keep conversations private while the room stays bright and visible to the team. Typical additions are frosted bands, branding film, acoustic glass and a glass door with a lock. We design the layout with you and install the partitions as part of your office fit-out.
Reception Glass Partitions
A glass partition behind or around reception sets the first impression of your office. It can separate the waiting area from the workspace while showing off your interior. We often combine it with ACP or wall-panel feature walls and a custom reception counter for a complete front-of-house look.
Full-Height Glass Partitions
Full-height partitions run from floor to ceiling, creating closed rooms with a bright, open feel. They are used for cabins, boardrooms and showroom displays. Accurate measurement is essential, especially under false ceilings. We measure on site, supply panels cut to size and install them with neat ceiling details.
C. Glass Doors
Frameless Glass Doors
Frameless glass doors are single panels of thick toughened glass with patch fittings, hinges and a handle. They give offices, shops and villas a clean, modern entrance. We supply the glass and hardware and install the door to match adjoining partitions or shopfront glass.
Toughened Glass Doors
Toughened glass is heat-treated to be much stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small, blunt pieces if it fails, which is why it is used for doors. We supply toughened glass doors for offices, shops, homes and showers, in clear, frosted or tinted options.
Sliding Glass Doors
Sliding glass doors save space because they do not swing open. They are used between living rooms and terraces, for office cabins and as shopfront entrances. Options include frameless top-hung systems and aluminium-framed sliders. We install the track, glass and handles and adjust the door for smooth movement.
Bi-Fold Glass Doors
Bi-fold doors fold back in sections to open a wide gap between indoor and outdoor spaces. They are a favourite for villa terraces, restaurants and cafés that want an open frontage. We supply aluminium-framed bi-fold systems and install them level and weather-sealed.
Hinged Glass Doors
Hinged glass doors swing on wall- or glass-mounted hinges and are the simplest glass door solution. They suit offices, meeting rooms, shower enclosures and internal entrances. We choose hinges and closers to suit the door size and usage, then install and adjust them on site.
Pivot Glass Doors
A pivot door rotates on a point set in from the edge, which allows large, heavy glass panels to open smoothly. It is a statement entrance for showrooms, villas and corporate receptions. We supply the floor spring or pivot hardware and toughened glass and install the door to the required opening.
Automatic Glass Doors
Automatic sliding glass doors open on a sensor and are common in clinics, retail outlets, hotels and offices with high footfall. They improve access and help keep cooled air inside. We can arrange supply and installation of the door system and the glass as part of a shopfront or entrance package.
Aluminium & Glass Doors
Aluminium-framed glass doors combine a strong, slim frame with large glass panels. They are a durable choice for shop entrances, office main doors and villa exterior doors. We fabricate them in your chosen profile and colour and install them with locks and closers.
Shower Glass Doors
Shower glass doors and enclosures replace curtains with toughened glass that is easy to clean and makes a bathroom feel bigger. Options include frameless, semi-frameless, sliding and hinged. We measure each bathroom individually and install the enclosure with proper sealing.
D. Glass Windows
Glass Windows
New or replacement glass windows can refresh a property, improve daylight and reduce outside noise. We replace broken or outdated glass and supply new windows for villas, apartments, offices and shops, choosing the glass type to suit sun exposure and privacy.
Aluminium & Glass Windows
Aluminium windows are slim, strong and resistant to corrosion, which makes them a common choice in the UAE climate. They are available as fixed, sliding, casement and top-hung units. We fabricate and install aluminium windows to your openings with the glass and finish you choose.
Sliding Windows
Sliding windows open sideways along a track and are practical where space in front of the window is limited, such as kitchens, balconies and corridors. We supply aluminium sliding windows with single or double glazing and fit them with seals and locks.
Fixed Glass Windows
Fixed windows do not open; they simply frame a view and let light in. They are used for large picture windows, stairwells, clerestories and shop displays. Without opening parts, they can be larger and are well sealed. We supply and install fixed glazing in aluminium frames or frameless channels.
Double-Glazed Windows
Double-glazed windows have two panes with a sealed gap. They reduce heat entering from outside and cut street noise, which helps comfort in bedrooms, offices and properties near busy roads. We supply double-glazed units in aluminium frames and install them with weather seals.
Toughened Glass Windows
Toughened glass is used in windows where safety matters — low-level glazing, large panes, schools, clinics and areas close to doors. It is much stronger than standard glass and breaks into small pieces. We specify and install toughened glass wherever the location calls for it.
E. Balcony & Exterior Glass
Glass Balcony Railings
Glass balcony railings keep the view open while providing a safe barrier. For railings, laminated toughened glass is the usual choice because it stays in place if a pane breaks. We supply and install railing systems for villas, apartments and terraces, with stainless-steel or aluminium fittings and handrails as required.
Frameless Balcony Glass
Frameless balcony glass sits in a base channel or on standoff fittings with no posts between panels, giving an uninterrupted view of the skyline, sea or garden. We measure the slab edge carefully and install laminated toughened panels with a top rail where the design calls for one.
Aluminium & Glass Balcony Systems
Aluminium posts and rails with glass infill panels are a durable, budget-friendly balcony option. The frame finish can match your windows and doors. We fabricate the aluminium to your balcony layout and install the system with glass suitable for the height and exposure.
Glass Balustrades
Glass balustrades are the protective barriers along mezzanines, landings, atriums and raised floors. They make interiors feel bigger and brighter than solid walls. We supply and install balustrades in frameless, post-fixed and point-fixed styles for homes, offices and commercial buildings.
Staircase Glass Railings
A glass staircase railing turns a stair into a feature of the room. Panels can run in a channel, be side-fixed to the stringer or be held by standoffs, with or without a handrail. We measure the stair precisely and fabricate panels to follow its angle.
Pool Glass Fencing
Glass pool fencing creates a safety barrier without blocking the view of the pool. Thick toughened glass with corrosion-resistant spigots or channels is used, plus a self-closing gate. We supply and install pool fencing for villas, rooftops and hotel pool decks.
Terrace Glass Barriers
Terrace and roof-garden glass barriers provide protection from height and can reduce wind on exposed decks. They suit villas, rooftop restaurants and penthouse terraces. We recommend glass thickness and fixing type for the location and install the barrier with proper drainage at the base.
Finishing a balcony or terrace too? See our guide to outdoor flooring for balconies and terraces.
F. Skylights & Roof Glass
Glass Skylights
A skylight brings daylight into stairwells, corridors, bathrooms and central halls that have no windows. It can transform a dark villa interior. We supply and install skylights with laminated or double-glazed glass and weather sealing, and advise on solar-control glass to manage heat.
Fixed Skylights
Fixed skylights do not open and are fully sealed, making them simple, durable and low-maintenance. They are the most common choice for villas and commercial roofs where the goal is light, not ventilation. We install fixed skylights in aluminium frames sized to your roof opening.
Opening Skylights
Opening skylights can be raised manually or with a motor to release hot air and add ventilation. They suit stairwells, kitchens and atriums. We can arrange supply and installation of opening skylight systems where the roof design supports it.
Roof Glazing
Roof glazing covers larger glass roofs — atriums, conservatories, courtyards and walkways. It needs laminated or double-glazed safety glass and a properly drained frame. We coordinate supply and installation based on the approved design for the roof area.
Glass Canopies
A glass canopy shelters an entrance, walkway or terrace from rain and direct sun while keeping the area bright. Laminated glass on stainless-steel or aluminium supports is the usual build. We supply and install canopies for villas, offices and shopfronts.
Entrance Canopies
An entrance canopy marks the front door of a villa, office building or showroom and gives visitors shade on arrival. It can be glass, aluminium, ACP or a combination. We design the canopy to suit your facade and install it with the right supports.
Glass Awnings
Glass awnings are smaller projecting covers over doors and windows. They protect from rain and reduce sun on glass below without blocking light. We supply and fix awnings with tie rods or brackets for homes, shops and cafés.
G. Specialty Glass
Toughened Glass
Toughened (tempered) glass is heat-treated to be several times stronger than ordinary glass. If it breaks, it shatters into small, blunt pieces. It is the standard for doors, partitions, shower enclosures and tabletops. All cutting and drilling is done before toughening, so we measure carefully before ordering.
Laminated Glass
Laminated glass has two or more layers bonded with a plastic interlayer. If it cracks, the pieces stay attached to the interlayer, so the pane stays in place. It is used for balconies, skylights, canopies, facades and security glazing. Some laminated glass also improves sound reduction.
Double-Glazed Glass
Double-glazed units (insulated glass units) are two panes separated by a sealed gap. They reduce heat gain and noise, which makes them popular for bedrooms, offices and buildings near busy roads. We supply double-glazed units for windows, facades and partitions.
Low-E Glass
Low-E glass has a very thin coating that reflects a large share of solar heat while still letting light through. In the UAE it helps reduce the load on air conditioning. It is usually used inside double-glazed units on windows and facades facing strong sun.
Tinted Glass
Tinted glass is coloured through its body — commonly grey, bronze, green or blue — to cut glare and some heat. It also adds daytime privacy. It is used on windows, facades, shopfronts and car-park-facing glass. We supply it in different shades depending on project requirements.
Reflective Glass
Reflective glass has a metallic coating that gives a mirror-like look from outside in daylight. It reduces solar heat and limits views in during the day. It is widely used on commercial facades and office buildings. We supply reflective glass in several tones.
Frosted Glass
Frosted glass has a translucent, matt surface that blurs views but lets light through. It is ideal for bathrooms, clinic rooms, office partitions and front doors. It can be produced by acid-etching or sandblasting, or achieved with decorative film on clear glass.
Acid-Etched Glass
Acid-etched glass is treated with acid to create a smooth, even satin finish. It resists fingerprints better than sandblasted glass and is easy to clean. It is used for shower screens, partitions, kitchen splashbacks and cabinet doors.
Textured Glass
Textured glass has a raised or rippled surface that scatters light and hides what is behind it. It brings character to doors, cabinet fronts, bathroom windows and room dividers. Several textures are available depending on supplier stock.
Patterned Glass
Patterned glass carries a repeating design pressed or printed into the surface — reeded, fluted, geometric or custom. Fluted and reeded glass are especially popular in modern villas, cafés and offices for partitions and joinery doors.
Coloured Glass
Coloured or back-painted glass is painted on the rear face so the colour shows through a glossy surface. It is used for kitchen splashbacks, feature walls, writable glass boards in offices and furniture tops. Colours are available depending on project requirements.
Smart / Electrochromic Glass (advanced option)
Smart glass switches from clear to opaque, or tints, at the press of a button. It is used for boardrooms, clinics and premium bathrooms. This is a specialist product: we can discuss it as an advanced option and source it through specialist suppliers on request, subject to availability and project budget.
H. Mirrors & Decorative Glass
Decorative Mirrors
A decorative mirror can anchor a living room, entrance hall or restaurant wall. Shapes, bevelled edges, frames and tints all change the look. We supply and install decorative mirrors that suit your interior style and fix them securely to the wall.
Wall Mirrors
Wall mirrors make a room feel larger and brighter by reflecting light. They are used in bedrooms, dressing areas, corridors, salons and gyms. We cut mirrors to your wall size and fix them with suitable adhesive and mechanical support.
Full-Height Mirrors
Floor-to-ceiling mirrors are a practical feature in dressing rooms, gyms, dance studios, salons and retail fitting rooms. Large sizes need careful handling and fixing. We measure on site and install panels with tight, neat joints.
Custom-Cut Mirrors
Custom-cut mirrors are made to fit exact spaces — alcoves, wardrobe doors, columns, splashbacks or around switches and sockets. We measure on site and supply mirrors cut and edged to size, ready for clean installation.
Backlit Mirrors
Backlit mirrors have LED lighting behind or around the glass, creating a soft glow on the wall. They are popular in bathrooms, dressing tables, salons and hotel rooms. We supply and install backlit mirrors in coordination with your electrical points.
LED Mirrors
LED mirrors have lighting built into the mirror, often with touch switches, dimming or demister pads. They provide even, flattering light for bathrooms and vanity areas. We supply a range of sizes and shapes and install them with your electrician's connection.
Antique-Effect Mirrors
Antique-effect mirrors have a deliberately aged, smoky or speckled finish that adds warmth and character. They work well in restaurants, bars, classic villas and feature walls. We supply and install them as full panels or as tiles.
Tinted Mirrors
Tinted mirrors — grey, bronze or other tones — give a softer, more refined reflection than clear mirror. They are often used on feature walls, furniture and ceilings in hospitality and luxury residential interiors. Tones are available depending on supplier stock.
Decorative Glass Panels
Decorative glass panels add pattern, colour or texture to walls, doors, partitions and joinery. Options include fluted, etched, printed and laminated designs. We supply panels to suit your design and install them as part of a feature wall or fit-out.
Coloured Decorative Glass
Coloured decorative glass uses back-painted or laminated colour to create bold walls, splashbacks, reception backdrops and signage backgrounds. It is easy to clean and reflects light well. We match colours to your brand or interior where available.
Aluminium Works in Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman
Aluminium is light, strong, and does not rust, which makes it one of the most practical materials for the UAE climate. It can be cut, shaped and finished in almost any colour, and it frames glass better than most alternatives. Zale Interior fabricates and installs aluminium doors, windows, shopfronts, partitions, louvers, railings, pergolas and custom features for homes and commercial spaces.
Fabrication vs installation — what's the difference?
Aluminium Fabrication
Fabrication is the workshop stage. Aluminium profiles are measured, cut, drilled, notched and assembled into frames, doors, windows or panels, and finished (powder coated or anodized). Good fabrication depends on accurate site measurements.
Aluminium Installation
Installation is the site stage. The fabricated units are delivered, positioned, levelled, fixed to the structure, glazed, sealed and adjusted so doors and windows open smoothly and joints are weather-tight. Zale Interior manages both stages, so measurement, fabrication and fitting stay in one team.

ACP Cladding in Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman
What is ACP cladding?
ACP stands for Aluminium Composite Panel. Each panel has two thin aluminium skins bonded to a core, with a coated finish on the face. The result is a sheet that is flat, rigid and light, and can be cut, grooved and folded into trays. ACP is used to clad building facades, shopfronts, columns, fascias, canopies, signage backgrounds and interior feature walls. It gives a clean, modern finish in a wide range of colours and textures.
Material
Two aluminium skins with a core between them. Cores differ by product (standard and fire-retardant grades exist). For external facades, the panel and system must meet current UAE fire and life-safety requirements for that building; we supply panels with the manufacturer’s documentation for your consultant’s review.
Finish options
Solid colours, metallic, brushed, mirror, wood-look and stone-look finishes, plus other finishes depending on supplier availability and project requirements.
Applications
Facades, shopfronts, entrances, columns, fascias, soffits, canopies, signage backgrounds, reception backdrops and interior feature walls.
Fabrication
Panels are fabricated from measured drawings into flat sheets or folded trays with returns, so edges look sharp and fixings stay hidden.
Cutting
Panels are cut to size and routed (grooved) on the back along fold lines, leaving the front skin intact.
Folding
Routed panels are folded into trays, corners and column wraps, giving clean edges without visible joints at the bends.
Installation
An aluminium sub-frame is fixed to the wall or structure, then panels are hung or riveted on, aligned, and the joints are finished with sealant or open-joint details.
Maintenance
ACP needs little upkeep. Periodic washing with mild soap and water and checking sealant joints keeps it looking fresh. Damaged panels can be replaced individually.

Aluminium and Glass — Built to Work Together
Aluminium and glass are paired in most modern buildings for good reason. Aluminium is strong enough to hold large glass panes in slim frames, it doesn’t rust in humid coastal air, and it can be finished in any colour. Glass adds light, views and openness. Together they create spaces that look clean and modern and stay durable with little maintenance.

ACP and Glass for Standout Frontages and Interiors
ACP and glass complement each other: ACP gives solid, colour-matched surfaces, and glass provides the openings and transparency. This pairing is widely used to give shops, showrooms and offices a sharp, branded look.

Frequently Asked Questions
What glass is best for balcony railings?
Laminated toughened glass is the usual choice. It is strong, and if a pane breaks, the interlayer keeps the pieces in place so the barrier doesn’t leave an open gap. Thickness and fixing depend on height, span and building requirements.
What is the difference between toughened and laminated glass?
Toughened glass is heat-treated to be much stronger and breaks into small, blunt pieces. Laminated glass is two or more layers bonded with an interlayer that holds the glass together if it cracks. The two can be combined as laminated toughened glass.
What is curtain wall glazing?
A curtain wall is a non-load-bearing glass and aluminium wall hung on the outside of a building’s structure. It creates a continuous glass facade and is common on offices and commercial buildings.
What is structural glazing?
Structural glazing bonds glass to the frame with structural silicone, so no metal caps show on the outside. It gives a smooth, all-glass appearance.
What is ACP cladding?
ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) cladding uses panels made of two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a core. The panels are flat, light and easy to shape, and are used on facades, shopfronts, columns and feature walls.
Where is ACP cladding used?
On building facades, shopfronts, fascias, entrance canopies, columns, signage backgrounds, reception walls and interior feature walls in homes, offices, shops and showrooms.
Can ACP be used inside villas?
Yes. ACP works well for interior feature walls, TV wall backdrops, entrance details and column wraps, in metallic, wood-look or solid finishes.
Can you install aluminium and glass shopfronts?
Yes. We fabricate and install aluminium and glass shopfronts with entrance doors, and can add ACP fascia and signage backgrounds.
Do you provide glass office partitions?
Yes — frameless, aluminium-framed, single- and double-glazed, frosted and acoustic partitions, with matching glass doors.
Can you install skylights?
Yes. We supply and install fixed skylights, and can arrange opening skylights and larger roof glazing where the roof design allows.
Do you provide decorative mirrors?
Yes — decorative, full-height, custom-cut, tinted, antique-effect, backlit and LED mirrors for homes, salons, hotels and commercial spaces.
What is the difference between aluminium and uPVC windows?
Aluminium is stronger, allows slimmer frames and larger glass, and holds its shape in high heat. uPVC insulates well and is often cheaper, but frames are bulkier. In the UAE, aluminium is the more common choice for villas and commercial buildings.
How long does glass installation take?
It depends on the scope. Most glass must be cut and toughened to order after measurement, which adds fabrication time before installation. We’ll give you a timeline with your quotation.
Do you provide site measurement?
Yes. We measure on site before fabrication so everything fits correctly. The consultation and site visit are free.
Do you provide a quotation before work starts?
Yes. You receive a detailed, itemised quotation and approve it before any fabrication or installation begins.
